To change your mobile number, log in to the GoTyme Bank App.

Select the profile (person) icon at the top left > Personal Information, then update your number. For your security, we’ll first confirm that it’s really you.

Alternatively, you can visit your nearest kiosk. A friendly GoTyme Bank Ambassador will assist you if needed.

On the app: Go to Cards, select your physical card, then scroll down and tap Reset card PIN. For your security, we’ll first confirm it’s really you.

At a kiosk: Log in to your account and follow the prompts to reset your card PIN.

On the app or at a kiosk: Select Forgot login PIN and follow the on-screen instructions to securely set a new one.

Log in to the App, go to Menu, then select Bank Statement or Proof of Account. Your documents will be sent to your email address within minutes.

If you don’t have an email address linked to your account, add one by tapping the profile icon, selecting Personal Information, then Email.

  • On the App: Tap the eye icon to view your balance.
  • At South African ATMs: A R10 fee applies.
  • At international ATMs: A R10 fee applies.

Set limits apply. Tap your profile icon in the App to view your current limits at any time.

Unfortunately, Send Money Voucher transactions cannot be reversed. If the recipient does not withdraw the funds within 7 days, the voucher will expire and the money will be automatically returned to your account.

Funds sent to GoTyme Bank accounts are processed instantly. Payments to other banks may take 1 to 3 business days to clear if sent via standard EFT. For immediate clearing, use Instant Payments, free for transactions up to R5,000, and a flat fee of R7 for non-GoTyme bank payments above R5,000.

Yes, but you must be able to receive OTPs on your registered mobile number while abroad.

Download the Shyft app and register your GoTyme Bank account details to receive international payments. Alternatively, you can use a card-based global money transfer provider such as Wise.
