How do I find a PayShap transaction in my statement or history?

It sits in your normal transaction history, in the same place as every other payment. There is no separate PayShap tab or wallet, so an Instant Payment via PayShap appears on your GoTyme Bank statement like any card swipe or transfer. Open the GoTyme Bank app, scroll down to your transaction history and look for the date it went through.

The quickest way to spot it

A PayShap payment clears in seconds, so the date and time on your transaction history match the moment you tapped send. The recipient name is the fastest way to recognise it, then you can click into it to see the payment details and reference, which is a good reason to always add a clear reference when you pay.

Checking whether a payment actually went through

If you are not sure a payment left your account, your history is the proof. Money that shows as sent has already reached the recipient. If you cannot find it there, the payment did not go through and you can simply try again. You and the person you paid both get a notification the moment it lands, so that is another record to check against.
