Yes. Both you and the person you are paying get a notification the moment the money lands, usually within seconds of you authorising it. On the GoTyme Bank app that alert lands as a notification on your phone. It is your instant confirmation that the payment went through.

Who gets told and when

• You are notified the moment your payment sends and reflects.
• The person you paid is notified by their own bank as the money arrives in their account.

If you did not see an alert

Notifications can slip past if your phone is on silent or app notifications are switched off. When you are unsure, open the app and check your transaction history. If the payment shows there, it went through, regardless of what your phone did with the alert. Turning on app notifications means you'll catch the next one in real time.
