TymeBank rewards Banyana Banyana soccer team after heroic performance at FIFA Women’s World Cup™

Today, TymeBank, one of the world’s fastest- growing digital banks played host to the coach of Banyana Banyana soccer team, Desiree Ellis and xxx players at a ceremony to hand over R2 million to the team for their excellent performance at this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup. The team reached the quarterfinals for the first time in the quadrennial tournament which was held in Australia and New Zealand.

During the tournament, TymeBank pledged a portion of each customer’s transaction processed (amounting to R2 million) during Women’s Month towards the national team’s FIFA Women’s World Cup™ bonuses. TymeBank’s customers supported the initiative at no cost to themselves by simply transacting on their accounts.
